Welcome to Books and a Blanket
The purpose of Books and a Blanket is to promote literacy and well-being among young students who are in need.
As of May 2022, Books and a Blanket has merged with United Way of the Brazos Valley’s Early Literacy Program. United Way will continue the legacy of the Cunningham women within the Brazos Valley region.

Due to updates within the program, we recommend donating blankets to our partners at Twin City Mission.

The Hazardous Waste event is April 20, 2024 — a great way to safely dispose of your hazardous materials and donate used books. We are thankful to join with our partner, BVSWMA, Inc., on this event.
